My dog/cat never go out from my home. It is necessary to deworm or vaccinate it?
Yes it is. The infectious or parasitary diseases can be transmitted by vectors, and you can be one of them.
At what age do I have to first deworm my dog/cat?
We recommend to first deworm internally the puppy/kitten between 14-21 days, followed by regular deworming at 14days, until no worms are eliminated, followed by a deworming prior each vaccination. If you bought the puppy/ kitten you have to check in the health book.
When is recommended to start my dog/cat vaccination?
According to WSAVA (World Small Animal Veterinary Association) Vaccination Guideline we recommend to start at 6 weeks if we do not know its origins or the immunological situation of the bitch is not known, or at 8 weeks if, we know that the bitch was vaccinated at least 12 moths before giving birth. For kittens the vaccination begin at 8-9 weeks of age.
Is it microchip necessary?
From 15 of March 2014 it is mandatory by law and yes, it is necessary, being the only way to prove the identity of an animal.
Starting when do I have to neutered my dog/cat?
We recommend to neutered the female after 6-12 months and the males after 6-7 months of age. In large breed dogs after 18 months.
